The Calix Society is an organization of Catholics in recovery, their friends and family. Why Calix...What does it do? Answers to these questions are vital to the Catholic who is recovering from alcohol dependency, chemical dependency and a host of other addictions.  Our goal is to support one another in maintaining a sober, serene and spiritually enriched life.

Greetings Community 'Nordeast'! I am excited to meet my fellow "Nordeasters" and share in community events.  This meet-up used to be the Northeast Evening Walking Partners.  I chose to expand the group to incorporate any event that will bring our friendly community together. I hope to incorporate walking, biking, river boating, canoing, garage saling, doggie play dates, children's events, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, pedal pubing, bands, fitness, potlucks, cookouts, block parties, book clubs …

This group is for those who want to focus on being positive, having FUN and being healthy in mind, body and spirit.  Welcome especially to those who want to expand a social network of 12-Steppers/people in recovery.  Would like to meet every other week or so to gather with other like-minded people for good clean fun such as game nights, laughter club, coffee, hula-hooping, hiking, kayaking, bonfires, talks, meditation, comedy clubs, potlucks and anything new and fun with no alcohol or drugs.
